$210,000 Settlement in Philadelphia County, PA (Trip and Fall)

$210,000 settlement in Philadelphia County for a Philadelphia woman who injured her back when she stepped into an uncovered 6” drain pipe in broad daylight.  The defense did not offer to settle the case before trial, arguing out client should have seen (and avoided) the uncovered pipe, and that our client’s injuries were not caused by the fall.  Justice prevailed as Tom Gibbons was able to secure a $210,000 settlement during trial.  This case was a featured story in Pennsylvania Law Weekly and Verdict Search: Pennsylvania.
