Troy Crichton is an accomplished trial lawyer. He has obtained full acquittals in criminal proceedings ranging from gun possession, aggravated assault, narcotic distribution, driving under the influence, sexual assault, theft, vehicular theft, and various fraud charges. In addition to criminal defense, Troy has experience in personal injury claims, having worked for the insurance companies defending car accidents, motorcycle accidents, nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, and slip and fall claims. Troy has tried hundreds of cases to verdict before judges and juries, and is always prepared to go to trial in order to obtain the best results for his clients.

Before joining Gibbons Legal, P.C., Troy was an associate attorney at Philadelphia’s largest criminal defense firm where he defended a wide range of criminal prosecutions. Through these investigations, Troy gained extensive experience evaluating, preparing and presenting expert witnesses in the areas of forensic toxicology, ballistics, pharmacology, accident reconstruction, and anatomical physiology. Prior to a career in criminal law, Troy was an associate at a well-respected civil defense firm in Montgomery County representing insurance companies and physicians charged with medical malpractice.

Outside of the courtroom, Troy is an avid motorcyclist, horticulturalist and photographer. He lives in Philadelphia and is a proud graduate of Villanova University and Temple University’s Beasley School of Law. Troy is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

At Gibbons Legal, P.C., Troy will will work with the personal injury department and manage the criminal defense department.
