Heather brings years of personal injury experience with her well-rounded approach to client interaction and claims handling to Gibbons Legal, where she will focus her practice on motor vehicle accidents and premise liability claims. With her boundless energy, endless attention to detail, and core belief in personalizing every case, Heather has an innate ability to paint a powerful picture of how an accident has drastically affected her clients’ everyday lives.
Heather began her legal career while still in law school, serving as an intern at the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office, battling those accused and charged with domestic violence. Her grit, determination, and sense of righteousness served her clients well throughout her tenure there and continues serving her clients now in her personal injury practice. Following her departure from the District Attorney’s office, Heather spent years honing her skills with one of the largest personal injury firms in the state, gaining essential experience and creating valuable relationships with claims adjusters, defense attorneys, and court staff.
Outside the office, Heather is a very experienced and sought-after speaker and advocate for women in business and other leadership roles. She’s spoken at the Women in Trial Travel Summit and several Women in Leadership events, and often speaks at local colleges and Universities. She’s also a fierce advocate for the advancement of young minority women in various professional settings and has been a featured guest on countless podcasts where she’s shared her perspective on women’s advocacy, leadership, and professional development. She’s also a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association and The Hispanic Bar Association of Pennsylvania.
Heather obtained her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware, and later earned a law degree from Delaware Law School – Widener University, where her dad earned his law degree many years earlier.
